FAQ
Have a question? It may already be answered. See below for all our FAQs
What's your availability?
Our personal trainers are flexible and will arrange availability to suit their clients. Generally, we can do sessions between 6am-11pm Monday - Sunday. One of the benefits of training with us, is that, if your trainer goes on holiday or can't fit you in for whatever reason, one of their colleagues can step in. This means you never have to miss a session!
What types of training do you offer and how much does personal training cost?
Thanks to our highly skilled and varied personal training team, we are able to offer a wide range of different training types to suit many different goals. Please visit our What We Do page to get more info on our services and how much personal training costs.
Where are you based? Can you travel to my home or park?
We are based in Chiswick and we can also travel to meet you either at your home or a local park. Currently, our personal trainers have clients in Chiswick, Ravenscourt, Hammersmith, Acton, Ealing, Kew, Richmond and Brentford. We can bring our own equipment or can use yours if you prefer.
I'm a beginner, I don't think I can survive a full one hour session. Can you do 30min sessions?
All the sessions delivered by our personal trainers are at a level that is suited to the client. In other words, if you are a beginner, we will not give you an advanced training programme. Everything is tailored to you and your abilities. As long as you are giving it 100%, that's all that we can ask for.
We can, if you need us to, do 30min sessions if you have time restraints and can't fit in the full hour. Please contact us for pricing.
Do I have to sign a contract? I don't know if I can commit for a whole year.
No. We don't do contracts and we certainly don't do anything like a 6 month or 12 month contract. If you no longer want to continue having a personal trainer, you can stop at anytime. All we ask is that you give us as much notice as possible so that our trainers can plan their schedules accordingly.
What if I am not satisfied with my personal trainer?
We understand that it can be hard to speak to your trainer directly regarding an issue, especially if you have already built up a good relationship with them. However, If you are unhappy with the service you have received please talk to them first. If you feel like you can't or if you have tried that already, please feel free to contact us. We can help fix the problem or if not, find another trainer that better suits your needs.
What does a typical personal training session involve?
Every personal training session is different and the answer depends hugely on the training goals. However, to give you an idea, this is how a typical, generic session for a goal of overall health and fitness COULD be structured:
Warm up - 5min
Resistance training - 30/40min
Cardio (HIIT) - 10/20min
Abs/stretches/cool down - 5/10min
Can I do boxing for fitness or do I have to be a fighter?
Boxing for fitness has become very popular over the last few years and for good reason! It is one of the most enjoyable ways to improve fitness. Our personal trainers can teach boxing for fitness or for fighting. Bilal Hammad is our resident fighter and has competed many times in Thai Boxing. All of our current boxing clients do not compete and are just using boxing to get fit and learn a new skill. Some have dabbled in sparring sessions but that's as far as it goes.
